David Kopriva

Funeral services for David A. Kopriva, 41, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Brian Bibler officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mr. Kopriva died Sunday at his residence. Mr. Kopriva was born in Cameron to Anton Kopriva Jr. and Betty Johnson Kopriva. He graduated from Cameron High School in 1984. He served in the Navy for eight years, having served in Desert Storm I. He married Lupe Martinez March 10, 1990. He had been a member of the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department and First Methodist Church in Cameron. He worked for Wilson Art for many years and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He lived in Cameron and Kingsville before moving to Temple. Survivors include his wife Lupe Kopriva of Temple, his daughter Karmen Kopriva of Temple, his parents Anton Kopriva Jr and Betty Johnson Kopriva of Cameron; his grandfather Anton Kopriva Sr. of Cameron and his sister Diana Zinsmeister of San Antonio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Benefit Account for Karmen Kopriva at Extraco Bank. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
