David L. Parker, 58, of Cameron, died Thursday in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Mr. Parker was born August 7, 1947 in Lynwood, California to Leo Gerald and Camille Phillips Parker. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a Baptist and was very active with the AIDS organization in Houston, Texas. Survivors include two sisters, Carol Kelly of Yucca Valley, California, and Martha Martin of California and one brother Phillip Parker of Belden, Nebraska.
