Debora graduated from Temple High School in 1978 and went on to earn a BA in English from Abilene Christian University in 1983. She later received her teaching certificate from Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton. Since 1997, Debora worked for Central Texas 4C (Head Start), where she immensely enjoyed cooperating with her co-workers.
A lifelong member of the Ave. T Church of Christ, where she was baptized at the age of 14, Debora also attended the Heidenheimer Church of Christ. She was a prolific Christian poet with several published works and was a friend of the Temple Public Library.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and niece Jennifer Leann Robbins of Temple.
Debora survives by her two brothers, Ray Robbins and Tom Robbins and his wife Debra, and one sister, Caroline Pinkard and her husband Richard; niece April Robbins and great-niece Bethany Gardner of Temple; nephew James Robbins and wife Rachel of Waco; nephew Dan Pinkard and wife Karen of Manchester, Missouri; great-niece Kendra Pinkard and great-nephew Darian Pinkard of Manchester Missouri; three aunts and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her honor to the Sjogren Disorder Foundation or Cherokee Home for Children.
A celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:30pm at the Heidenheimer Church of Christ, 7197 US-190 Temple, Texas 76501
