Mrs. Svoboda died Friday in a Weimar Nursing Home.
Mrs. Svoboda was born February 23, 1936 in Perry, Texas to Reinhold Neumann and Bertha Weideman Neumann. She attended Riesel High School. She married Johnnie Svoboda Dec. 28, 1957. He preceded her in death February 2, 2005. She moved to Temple, from Waco, in 1957. She worked as an unit manager for Scott and White Hospital. She was a member of Ocker Brethren Church, Ocker Christian Sisters and SPJST Lodge #24.
Survivors include one sister Sharon Clark of Waco, nephew Darren Clark and wife Deeanna Antosh; great niece Emma Clark; niece Misty Clark; great niece Nevaeh Campos; great nephews Noe Campos and Antonio Campos.
Memorials may be made to Ocker Brethren Church Cemetery or to Compassionate Care Hospice.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
