
Dorothy Small, age 82, former longtime resident of Mabank died Thursday, May 8, 2008 in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 17 at Four Mile Lutheran Church in Prairieville near Mabank. Mrs. Small was born July 13, 1925 in Oaks, Pennsylvania to Percival Kulp Dunlap, Sr. and Rosetta Clymer Dunlap. She was a graduate of Phoenixville (PA) High School and graduated from University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She married Theodore Small on May 31, 1958 in North Wales, Pennsylvania. She was a longtime resident of Mabank and was a registered nurse. She retired from Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman. She was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Mabank and Four Mile Lutheran Church in Prairieville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons, Gary Levering and Terry Small. Survivors include one son, Tom Small and wife, Kathy of San Jose, California, one daughter, Barbara S. Key and husband, David of Moffat and four grandchildren, Chris Small and wife, Cathleen of Roseville, California, Tanya Baggese and husband, Steve of San Jose, California, Stefanie Key of Arlington and Scott Key of Moffat and two great-grandchildren, Nikolaus Baggese and Theodore Small. Also surviving are three sisters, Florence Paster of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth Holbert of Chokoloskee, Florida, Ruth Richardson of Norristown, Pennsylvania and one brother, Percival Dunlap, Jr. and wife, Jeanette of Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
