Edwin Victor Struznik, age 83, of Temple, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. He was born on January 18, 1942 in Portland, Oregan, the son of Edwin Victor, Sr. and Bessie Mae (Crawford) Struznik.
A visitation for Edwin will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, 3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504.
A graveside with military honors will occur Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.
Ed served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 24 years of service as a Senior Master Sergeant, then went on to work for the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles in Gatesville, Texas. He was a member of the American Legion Post 133 in Temple, the American Legion Post 42 in Gatesville, the VFW Post 1820 in Temple, and the VFW Post 8230 in Gatesville.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Struznik, of Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin Sr. and Bessie Struznik.
