Efren Yanez, Jr., age 57 of Temple, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in Belton. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 28 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Yanez was born June 28, 1957 in Mexico to Efren and Feliciana Bustos Yanez. He had been a resident of Temple for the past 12 years. He worked for Shipley Donuts for 22 years. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Francisca Yanez of Temple, four sons, Remedios Yanez and wife, Anayelli of Austin, Adalberto Yanez and wife, Nelly of Copperas Cove, Lozaro Yanez and wife, Esmeralda and Santana Yanez all of Temple, three daughters, Dalia Lopez and husband, Felipe, Daena Benitez and husband, Fidel all of Austin and Carolina Yanez of Temple and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Odulia Sanchez and husband, Damasio of Houston and Honoria Aguirre and husband, Santiago of Mexico.
