Elaine Bernice Green

Funeral services for Elaine Bernice Green, 94, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, formerly of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Koinm officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Green died Tuesday in a Hendersonville Medical Center. Mrs. Green was born in Somerville to Louis G. Schoenberg and Clara S. Schrader Schoenberg. She lived in Somerville for eighteen years then moved to Temple where she stayed until 2007 when she moved to Hendersonville. She married Malcolm M. Green October 14, 1939. She graduated from Scott and White School of Nursing and worked for Santa Fe Hospital and the Temple Veterans Administration Center. She was a Head Nurse at the V.A. and she retired in 1983. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church and the NARFE. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm Green. Memorials may be made to studyjesus.com, P. O. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
