Funeral services for Elizabeth A. (Betty) Graves, 85, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Dana Wilhelmsen officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Graves died Sunday in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Graves was born in Seaton to Emil A. Motl and Julie E. Bartek Motl. She married Lawrence Graves, Jr. January 5, 1947. He preceded her in death May 2, 1988. She was a customer clerk for E.R. Carpenter Co for twenty nine years, having retired in 1995. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, SPJST Lodge #47 and Woodmen of the World. She is survived by two sons Lawrence Graves, III of Troy and Glenn Ray Graves of Troy; one daughter Karen Ann Vandiver of Hurst; one brother Eugene Motl of Belton; two sisters Marcella Mack of Dallas and Diana Chapman of Garland; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
