Ernest A. Tobar III

Ernest A. "Sleepy" Tobar III, age 36, of Harker Heights died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 17 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Minor officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation and prayer service will be 6 – 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Tobar was born October 16, 1970 in El Paso to Ernest A. Tobar, Jr. and Dominga Felix Tobar. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa Tobar, paternal grandfather, Ernest Tobar, Sr. and maternal grandmother, Maria Felix. Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Tobar, his parents, one daughter Veronica Tobar of Harker Heights, two sons, Johnny Reyna of Nolanville and Ernest A. Tobar IV and Yvonne Lopez of Harker Heights. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Alexis Perez-Tobar, his sister, Brenda Salas and husband, William Salas, Sr. of Harker Heights, a grandmother, Dolores C. Tobar of Temple and father-in-law and mother-in-law Juan and Lupe Reyna of Harker Heights. Pallbearers are William Salas, Jr., Miguel Tobar, Andrew Rayas, Gilbert Garibay, Manuel Carrillo, Jr., Luis Miguel Sanchez, Nando Springman and Fidencio Vera.
