Fay Hill

Fay Hill gracefully departed this world on June 15, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born on August 27, 1920 in Petersburg, Texas to Willie and Ruth Allen. Fay was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rogers. She was a strong, loving and beautiful individual who enjoyed baking, sewing and spending time with her loved ones. Fay married Barber Glen Hill on March 21, 1942 in Floydada, Texas, who preceded her in death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her only daughter, Betty Fay Wendler, her brother, T.J. Allen and her sister, Willie Mae Moore. Beloved Fay is survived by her son-in-law, Milton Wendler, grand-daughter, Kedda Lingo, great-grandchildren, Kylie Chen and her husband, Mu Chen, Kellom Greenway, McKenna Lingo and McKallen Lingo and three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 20, at First Baptist Church in Rogers. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Rogers, Texas.
