OBITUARY Fred Hoffman Jr. Charles Fredric Hoffman, Jr., 51 of Temple died Monday August 24, 2009 at his residence. Services for Mr. Hoffman will be held at 10 AM Friday August 28, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Temple with Rev. Martin Knox, Rev. Charlie Dodd and Rev. Elwyn Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Fred was born September 22, 1957 in Temple the son of Charles Fredric and Jimmie Evelyn Maedgen Hoffman Sr... He was a life long resident of Temple and attended Temple schools graduating in 1976. He was elected Class Clown for the Class of 1976. He was an avid Temple High School football fan. He was a life long member of the First Baptist Church in Temple. He was the founding employee of the Clem Mikeska Grill and was an Assistant Manager since there inception. Fred is survived by his brother Lee Hoffman of Temple. Fred was preceded in death by his father Fred Hoffman Sr. in 1990 his brother Jimmy Jay Hoffman in 1991 and his mother Jimmie Evelyn Hoffman in 1997. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday August 27, 2009 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Fred Hoffman Jr. Fund P.O. Box 944 Temple, Texas 76503. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple is in charge of arrangements.
