Gary W. Fields, age 57 of Temple, died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 18, at Grace Presbyterian Church with Rev. Thom Lamb officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Fields was born January 18, 1957 in Heidelberg, Germany to Louis and Carolyn Gibson Fields. He graduated from Temple High School and received an associate degree from the University of Phoenix. He married Teresa Winn on August 27, 1993. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his parents of Temple, his wife, Teresa A. Fields of Temple, two sons, Tarl D. Fields of Lakewood, Washington and Jonathan W. Babb of Kerrville, one brother, Michael Fields and wife, Deanna of Oklahoma City and one sister, Pam Lawrence of Iola and four grandchildren.
