

George Kautz passed away in the early morning of June 7, 2022. He died of complications from a stroke and a viral infection. George was born in Lyman, Nebraska April 8, 1931 to Jakob and Natalie Kautz.
He joined the Army in 1953 and served 2 years. On October 27, 1957 he married Delorse Batt and resided in Minatare, Nebraska and farmed for the majority of his life. He moved to Wyoming in 1983 and California in 1985 where he worked for various electrical companies. Then he moved to Texas in 2006 and resided there until his passing. He enjoyed using his hands to create and build things, loved to fish, hunt, and garden. He was a Christian man with strong beliefs, a hard worker with integrity and honor, and loved spending time with his family. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He now resides in Heaven with The Father, Jesus and his family. One day we will be able to join back up with him in heaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Ann, Natalie, Kay, Marianne; and two brothers, Jake and Fred Kautz.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Delorse, 4 children, DeeAnna Whitman, Greg Kautz, Bryan Kautz, and Teresa Whitman; six grandchildren, Tabatha Slater, Cameron, Connor, Jacob Whitman, Journey Cooper; and six great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, June 13, 2022 at Trinity Full Gospel Church, 810 E. 2nd Ave., Belton, Texas 78613.
