
Glenda Sue Sharp Williams, 61, of Temple, went to be with her Lord on July 24, 2006. She was born in Temple, to Hamblen Barton Sharp and Laverta May Taylor. She attended Temple schools and lived in Temple most of her life. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church, and was baptized at age 12 at Memorial Baptist Church in Temple. She had served as Children's Sunday School Teacher and worked with the Children's Choir at Heights. Glenda retired from Scott and White Hospital in 2005 after 27 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant son Tommy Rodric Williams, Jr., and is survived by daughters, Jenny Pogan and husband Grant of Port Charlotte, Fl., Lisa Villagomez of Hewitt, Tx., Son, Rodric Williams and wife Jennifer of Temple; Sister, Kay Raley of Temple; Brothers, Curtis Dillard of Arlington, Tx., John Dillard and wife Kim of Temple, and Mark Dillard and wife Lee of Little River; five grandchildren, Andrew Villagomez, Sylvia Villagomez, Joshua Pogan, Victoria Pogan, and Nolan Williams; numerous Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Henderson and Dr. Ron Cook officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, July 28, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Avery, Brett Jordan, Barton Stevens, Chris Stevens, Cave Wann, Starkey Winnett, and Billy Wisener. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Paul Ogden and Dr. Art Trowbridge. Memorials may be made to Heights Baptist Church Music Support Fund, 1220 S. 49th Street, Temple, Texas 76504.
