Jaclyn Zabcik

Jaclyn "Jackie" D. Zabcik, age 55, of Temple passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 13, at Temple Brethren Church with Pastor Ron Winsman and Pastor Mark Sebek officiating. Burial will follow at Ocker Brethren Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. Zabcik was born on November 9, 1955 in Temple to James W. and Doris (Martinets) Ledbetter. She graduated from Temple High School in 1974. She married Larry D. Zabcik on August 31, 1974. They lived in Hillsboro for 28 years and had been in Temple for the past three years. While in Hillsboro she taught at First Baptist Preschool. She also volunteered at Town Hall Estates in Hillsboro. She was a member of Temple Brethren Church where her husband is the pastor. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Zabcik of Temple, her mother, Doris Ledbetter of Temple, one son, John Henry Zabcik and wife, Emily of Carthage, two daughters, Donica G. Zabcik of Temple and Emmy Lou Klein and husband, Brock of Arlington, two grandsons, Ethan Zabcik-Zajicek and Aidan Klein. Also surviving is one brother, James W.
