Janet R. Holliman

Janet R. Holliman, age 62, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at a local care center. She was born on May 20, 1955 in Temple the daughter of Raymond and Doris Goldman. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church 2109 W. Ave H Temple, TX 76504. She was a graduate of Temple High School, Texas Tech University, and University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Janet married Jimmy Holliman on June 18, 1977 at First Lutheran Church in Temple. Janet worked for many years as an Education Diagnostician have worked in Temple, Copperas Cove, and Belton. She was a member of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association and the Texas Educational Diagnostician Association. She is survived by her husband Jim Holliman of Temple, a daughter Michelle (Jimmy) Bassett of Temple, a son Robert (Heidi) Holliman of Temple, and grandchildren Bailey Bassett and Hunter Holliman. She is also survived by a brother Mark (Sharon) Goldman of Temple and her father-in-law H.B. Holliman of Amarillo. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, and her mother-in-law Patricia Holliman.
