
Jason Lee McKee, age 27, of Houston formerly of Temple died suddenly on October 18, 2006 in Houston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 23, at Memorial Baptist Church in Temple with Rev. Roy Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 8 PM Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Jason was born July 18, 1979, in Tyler, Texas. He was a 1997 graduate of Troy High School where he was voted Class Favorite his Junior year. He was interested in police work and graduated from Inghram Investigation Academy and Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation of the South in Utah. He also was an Audio Recorder and worked with Sugar Hill Recordings of Houston. He had a degree in Recording Engineering. For the past eight years he was employed with James Bonds Bail Services in Houston. He had received his Private Investigators License and was a Licensed Bounty Hunter. He attended the Baptist church. Survivors include his mother, Della McKee Nabours of Academy, his father, Larry McKee of Rusk, sister, Nikki Lopez of Temple and his paternal grandmother, Margie McKee of Van, Texas. He is also survived by one niece, Sadie and an aunt and uncle, Roy and Marilyn Akin of Edom, Texas. Pallbearers will be Anthony Gonzales, Sammie Valero, Ryan Stokes, Jeffrey Frawley, Steven Ketchum and Stephen Sudlow. A memorial fund has been set up at Extraco Bank.
