Jerry W. Weatherly, age 66, of Belton died Sunday, February 28, 2010 in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 4, at First Assembly of God in Belton with Rev. Harry Thrasher, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Weatherly was born on July 16, 1943 in Borger to William Weldon and Dovie (Teague) Weatherly. He was employed as a master plumber and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He married Sandra Mount on July 18, 1977 in Wichita Falls. He retired in 2008. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Belton. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Bobby Weatherly and a sister, Linda Bentley. Survivors include his wife, Sandra L. Weatherly of Belton, his mother, Dovie Teague Weatherly of Texas City, two sons, John W. Weatherly of Belton, Luke Michael Weatherly of Graford, daughter, Christina Weatherly and husband, Richard of Pasadena, five grandchildren, David, Brittany, Matthew, Ann Marie and Cheryl and one great grandson, Aiden Daniel.
