Jill White

Funeral services for Jill White, 71, of Troy will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Koinm officiating.  Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery. Mrs. White died Tuesday at her home. Jill was born in Temple to J.T. Davis and Marie Orand Davis.  She graduated from Temple High School and attended Temple College and the University of Mary Hardin Baylor.  She married Gary L. White November 16, 1967.  He preceded her in death June 7, 2015.  She worked as a secretary in the Nursing Department of The University of Mary Hardin Baylor, worked at People’s National Bank and Temple National Bank and was also the City Secretary for Morgan’s Point Resort.  She also owned and operated “The Scribe”.  She moved to Troy ten years ago from Morgan’s Point Resort and was a member of Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband Gary L. White, her parents and one sister Darlene Keltner. Survivors include her daughter Amy Bickel and her husband Jeff of Troy; one son Travis White of Chicago, Illinois and one sister Charlene Mewhinney of Belton her sister-in-law Judy Wisener and husband Bill of Temple, her brother-in-law Joe White and his wife Sandy of Temple; two grandchildren Brandon Baxley and Zackary Bickel and nieces and nephews Paula Rose of Belton, Ronnie Proctor and his wife Candi of Aledo, Kim Smith and her husband David of Waco, Priscilla Judge of Waco, David White and his wife Leslie of Austin, Jeffrey Wisener and his wife Mandi Wisener of Fort Wayne, IN and their children are Nathan, Norah and Joel, Neil Wisener and his wife Jill Wisener of Temple and their children Will and Hayley and great nieces and nephews Stacy Shackleford and her husband Brian of Belton, Keith Archer of Belton, Dane Smith of Waco, Drew Proctor of Aledo, Dustin Proctor of Aledo, Shane Proctor of Aledo and Kaylee White. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.Memorials may be given in Jill's name to Kindred Hospice or Heights Baptist Church.
