

Jimmy E. Rowe was born in Webb City, Missouri to Roy Seymour "Bill" and Sybil Marie Rowe. He served his country in the United State Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and was a member of the USMC Judo and Karate team from 1963 to 1965. He was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge #383 in Cassville, MO, and has remained a Mason throughout his life. Jim Rowe served as a Missouri State Highway Patrolman for twelve years and was a marksman and elite patrolman. In 1977, Jim moved his family to Temple Texas working as a top salesman for Friend Tire Company, later becoming the Regional Branch Manager until his retirement in 2008. He passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Temple Texas, at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his wife, Janice Marie Rowe of Temple; his son, Roy Lee Rowe and his wife Michelle of Tampa Florida; twin daughter, Deborah Marie Rowe Johnson and husband Toby of Temple, TX; twin daughter Diana Rowe Moore and husband Wesly Moore of Temple; grandsons, Murphey Edward and Jackson Downy of Tampa, FL; granddaughter Natalie Marie of Temple, TX; and many more loving friends, especially Cecil Goddard of Webb City, MO and Mike Copple of Golden BC Canada. He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Billy Rowe. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church, 300 N. 5th Street, in Temple, TX. Burial will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015, promptly at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. For those unable to attend the service, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Christian Church or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
