Mrs. Rawson, 80, of Temple died Thursday February 17, 2022 in a Hewitt Living Center.
Mrs. Rawson was born June 25, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to Carl Hyrkas and Ellen Nordstrom Hyrkas. She graduated from Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She married Edward M. Rawson June 8, 1963. He preceded her in death June 6, 2011. She worked as a Registered Nurse. She moved to Temple, from Fredericksburg in 2007 and was a member of Taylors Valley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rawson was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-laws David Rawson and Eugene Fasullo.
Survivors include her daughter Beth Kilpatrick and her husband Andy of Hewitt, two grandsons Benjamin and Andrew Kilpatrick of Hewitt; one brother Dean Hyrkas and his wife Sherry of Milford, Michigan; one sister Maxine Hyrkas of Suffern, New York; brother-in-law Perry Rawson and his wife Carol of North Carolina and sister-in-law Sandy Rawson of Newberg, Oregon.
