Julie,    On these pages once again for another family loss, Bob Martin.  Visiting Charlie's page as well as yours.  Girl, you are truly missed.  I want you to know that Jenny has taken over for you in my grief counseling, and she is doing a terrific job!  In the last month, we have had the opportunity to spend many hours with your precious babies. As they grow, we will share many stories of your life with them. I am sorry to have missed Julie's service, and extend my sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all her family.  She was such a dear, kind and bright person, and I am so saddened by her death.    Julie witnessed my being robbed at knifepoint some 18 or so years ago, and because of her sharpness and good memory, the person who robbed me was found and sentenced to time in prison.  I am forever grateful to Julie.    God bless each of you....

Julie became my mentor and friend when I learned that I had breast cancer in 1993.  With much empathy, she shared her own experience with me and guided me through the entire process. There was not a time day or night that I couldn't call Julie with questions about my treatment or just the need to talk.  She gave me hope with her encouraging words that "this will one day be just a memory."  With all of her health struggles, I have never met a more optimistic, caring person.  Her encouragement gave me hope and she touched the lives of many other women she met along the way.  She managed to always see the bright side of circumstances, and I will miss her beautiful smile and infectious laugh.

Julie, you were my confidant, big sister, emotional support and best friend. I will MISS you so much. Rest in Peace.I love you and always will have you in my heart. Laurie

To Julie's family, I am so very sorry for your loss.  Julie's passing is still a shock to me.  She will always be in our hearts.  She loved all of you so much, and lived for her daughter and grandbabies.  She also appreciated Maury's help these last five years or so, I don't think she could have done it without him.  Julie was the first neighbor that we met as we walked the empty lot across the street from her house.  I liked her instantly. I was so impressed with the way she lived her life.  She was forever positive about everything, and loved to laugh.  She was a great gardener, and could fix or build absolutely anything.  I'll miss our phone conversations, and seeing her pretty eyes and smile. I have a feeling we will think about her everytime we pull into our driveway, and glance over at her house.  I know Julie's in a better place and happy, but I'll miss her.

jennifer  i have thought of your mom frequently over the years. her battle with breast cancer was always an inspiration to me. over the years ive used her story to encourage patients with the same diagnosis.  i enjoyed each visit with her even though they were sometimes over another obstacle she had faced.  she always had that smile though on her face.  my thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time.  dewayne nash

Not a day went by that we did not talk. Julie gave me the most beautiful gift of all,our daughter Jennifer. She was a best friend and I enjoyed our time together. The past 5 years we became very close and spent many happy days together. Our beautiful grandbabies knew us as Nana and Papa. We were almost always together when we went to see them. I cared for and loved Julie very much. She is already missed and will be in my heart forever.

In the early summer of 1967 we drove from the Bay area of CA to the campus of USC to spend 6 of the most amazing weeks with several members of our Santa Fe family. Included, Don and Irene, was your very special family. At that time we were experiencing a loss such as yours. Julie, in particular, seemed to pick up on Allison's (11 years old at the time) depression at the loss of her sister. We'll never forget how she and some of your other daughters included her and looked over her. To this day Allison looks back on that experience as one of the most touching times of her life. You have reason to be proud of what you instilled in her. We are so very sorry that you and your family have to bear her loss. You must have so many, many loving memories that you will cherish more and more as the years go by.
