Kathleen Lambert Banks

Kathleen Lambert Banks, 89, of Temple died Sunday August 22, 2010 in an Austin Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Temple with Rev. Eddie Humphrey and Mr. Wade Park officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Valley Cemetery in Little River. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. Banks was born September 27, 1920 in Heidenheimer, Texas to Birdie B. and Sarah Quinn Lambert. She married Charles W. Supak who died in 1979, later she married Joe Banks who died in 1991. Mrs. Banks worked for Texas Instruments as a welder retiring in 1988. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 1820, and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Survivors include one daughter, Margie Supak Vasek of Fayetteville, TX; three sons, Charles Supak of Roanoke, VA, James Supak of Fayetteville, TX, and Tom Supak of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Johnnie Kaye Ward, two grandchildren, David Vasek and Charles Wayne Plummer, five sisters, and two brothers.
