LaDonna J. Childress, age 57 of Temple, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 15, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be anytime Thursday or Friday at the funeral home. LaDonna was born July 2, 1956 in East Chicago, Indiana to Eshavarus Donald T. and Doris Warner. She was a student of the medical field in which she received a master's degree. She started her own company, A Plus Medical Records Solutions in Temple. Her achievements include a master's degree in Training and Development, a bachelor's degree in Health Information, an associate's degree in Health Information Technology, a CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), a RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) and an Approved ICD-10 Trainer. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ole Mae Wilson and Lenora Milton. Survivors include her parents, her husband, Willie Childress, sisters, Ikima McMullen, Jeanette Kirkwood, and Shanette Jack, uncles William Luckette and Curtis Boyd and aunt, Deborah Boyd.
