Laverne Leroy Davis, age 80, of Temple died Monday, December 10, 2007 in a local hospital. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 13, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Willie Robertson officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 12:00 noon Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Davis was born October 9, 1927 in Belton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
