Graveside services for Lee Roy Massingill, 91, of Temple will be held at 4:30 P.M. Monday August 27, 2007 at Bellwood Memorial Park with Minister Tommy LeFan officiating. Mr. Massingill died Thursday at a Temple Living Center. Mr. Massingill was born in Evant to George W. Massingill and Ollie Nicks Massingill. He married Ima Lucille Nicks Dec. 10, 1938. She preceded him in death Dec. 29, 2006. He lived in Snyder for many years before moving to Temple five years ago. He was a farmer and worked for the Scurry County Parks Department. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters Joy Stack of Fredericksburg and Kay Epperson of Temple; one brother Jay Massingill of Abilene; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
