Lillian E. White, age 92, of Rogers died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, January 17, at Val Verde Baptist Church with Minister Robert B. Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Davilla Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 7:30 PM Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. White was born June 20, 1913 in Rogers to James and Bertie Moore. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1930. She married Harry C. White on October 24, 1931. She attended SWTU and taught school in Lilac. She was employed for 15 years at 1st State Bank of Rogers where she served as Vice President until she retired in 1985. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband May 15, 1984. Survivors include one son, Harry White of Seabrook, TX, one daughter, Margaret Cox of Rogers, one sister, Dora Lee Gilleland of Davilla, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
