

Lois Hanusch Moore, age 82, of Morgan's Point, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at a local care center in Belton, TX. She was born on February 5, 1933 in Barclay, TX the daughter of Walter and Kathleen Hanusch. Lois worked for Scott and White Hospital as a computer operator retiring after 28 years of service. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Temple, TX, loved fishing, gardening, and was known for her cooking and canning. Lois is survived by her children; Linda Moore of Austin, TX, Patti Walton and her husband George of Pensacola, FL, Nancy Blaylock and her husband Mark of Austin, TX, and David Wilson and his wife Susan of Moffat, TX, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters; Bernice Hutka of Temple, TX, Lucille Roark of Rosebud, TX, and Sophie Sodek and her husband Robert of Temple, TX, and a brother LeeRoy Hanusch and his wife Ruth of Temple, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Moore, her parents Walter and Kathleen Hanusch, a sister Katy Stewart, and brothers James and John Hanusch. A time of gathering will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5pm-7pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, TX 76504. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 10am at the funeral home followed by an interment at Bellwood Memorial Park Temple, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Special Olympics, the American Red Cross, or to Alzheimer's Research.
