
Louise Keeton, 93, of Temple died Sunday, April 6, 2008 in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 10 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Morgan's Point with Rev. Mel Plunk officiating. Mrs. Keeton was born June 29, 1914, in Grayson County near Whitewright, the youngest of three children, to Joe and Mary McClure. Louise and her family moved to Dallas in 1943 where she dedicated her life to providing a good home for her family, teaching them the ways of the Lord and how to be responsible individuals. She was very involved in Gaston Avenue Baptist Church where she taught teenage girls and ladies in Sunday School for approximately 40 years. She also played the piano in Sunday School every Sunday. She was a beautician at Titche-Goettinger for 25 years, loved to entertain others, play Bridge and socialize. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Keeton, a Dallas building contractor. Survivors include two daughters, Jane Fort and husband, George of Belton, Sue Davidson and husband, Bob of Greensboro, North Carolina, one sister, Velma Jo Horton of Lawrenceville, Georgia, six grandchildren, Bree Massey and husband, Roy of Lewisville, Veeca Wickliffe and husband, Curtis of Belton, Lisa Cook and husband, J. C. of Dallas, Jenny Fort and husband, Bobby Hougham of Seattle, Washington, Toni Thompson and husband, Lindsley of Greensboro, North Carolina and Andy Matthews and wife, Patti of Dallas, nine great-grandchildren, Keith, BreAnn and Aldon Wickliffe, Jordan and Jenna Massey, Kenny Roberts, Monnig Wilkerson, Maverick Cook, Jordan Hougham and Keeton Matthews and one great great-grandchild, Rayn Wickliffe..
