Luisa made the  best Christmas party goodies to enjoy in her and Mike's home.  And  the best part was no sugar or  calories.

Luisa came in my counselor's office several years ago, wanting to become a dental hygienist. She was a widow when I first met her but was a joy to be around. Over the years, we would see each other and talk about this or that but it was always in passing...my loss. I am sorry to see the obit and wish her family well

I was deeply saddened to learn of your  passing. For many years, you were not just a coworker; you became a part of our work family and a dear friend to me and our family. Your positive energy and abundance of words of wisdom brightened my days. Your talents extended beyond the workplace; your baking skills brought joy to many.

My dearest friend Luisa,

It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I compose these words, reflecting on the absence of an opportunity to say a proper farewell. I find myself yearning for just one more conversation, one final chance to express my gratitude and admiration for the remarkable person you are.

As I fondly reflect on our shared journey over the past eight years, I am filled with a profound sense of appreciation for the privilege of collaborating with you on our academic endeavors. Your dedication to excellence, both as an instructor and as a warm-hearted individual, has left an indelible mark on all who have had the fortune of crossing paths with you.

Your commitment to your students, inside and outside the classroom, has been nothing short of exemplary. You instilled in them not only academic rigor but also a sense of accountability and integrity that will undoubtedly guide them towards success in both their academic pursuits and in life.

Moreover, I am deeply touched by your unwavering support during my times of need. Your prayers and genuine concern for my well-being served as a source of comfort and strength during challenging moments. Although I wish I had been aware of your own struggles so that I could reciprocate the kindness, I am humbled by your selflessness and steadfast devotion to others.  

As we had hoped to find time amidst our busy schedules to share stories and do a virtual tour your beautiful home, I am saddened by the realization that this opportunity will now forever remain a cherished but unfulfilled promise. Nonetheless, I find solace in the belief that our paths will cross once again, in heaven, where I will have the privilege of recounting our shared memories as you listen with the same warmth and attentiveness that defined your presence on earth.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. My heart is deeply saddened with the news of my dear friend, Luisa’s passing.

Luisa was a beautiful person. She was a wonderful friend and colleague of mine. We taught at Fresno City College together. Luisa helped me with my Methodology portion of my thesis for my Master’s degree at Fresno Pacific University. She truly was an inspiration to my career and our profession. 

Luisa will be missed dearly. My family and I send our love and condolences to your family at this difficult time.

Dear Michael,
I am so sorry to hear of Luisa's passing.  My heart goes out to you and your family.  I will always remember you and Luisa as you ministered to me in the Singles group.
