Mr. Griffin was born in Temple to Luther A. Griffin Sr. and Maude May Keever Griffin. He married Mildred Croft on August 10, 1946. She preceeded him in death in 1988. He married Louise Cox Dec. 16, 1989. He owned and operated Griffin Auto Body Shop for over forty years. He served as a medic in the United States Navy during World War II, and was a member of Temple Bible Church. Survivors include his wife Louise Griffin of Temple, one daughter Tammy Watkins of Troy, one sister Neta Shepherd of Temple and four grandchildren.
