Margie Sanders

Services for Margie Lee Sanders, 83, of Little River will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday April 2, 2007 at Little River United Methodist Church with Dr. Linda Mitchell and Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Valley Cemetery. Mrs. Sanders died Friday in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Sanders was born in Adamsville to Edgar R. Moses and Minnie Lee Bartlett Moses. She attended Lampasas Schools. She married Raymond B. Sanders Jan. 25, 1947. She lived in Temple before moving to Little River forty four years ago. She had worked in retail sales at Wal Mart, Margies Dress Store, Bealls and Dressler Hardware. She was a charter member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Temple and for the last forty four years she was a member of Little River United Methodist Church. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Marsha Ann Sanders. Survivors include her husband Raymond B. Sanders of Little River; her daughter Sharon DePriest of Little River; her son Terry Dobbs of Little River and one sister Billie Dean of Pantego and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Little River United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. Sunday at Scanio- Harper Funeral Home.
