Mary Frances McGuire

A visitation will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 10:00am at Oak Park United Methodist Church 5505 S. 31st Temple, Texas 76502. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Troy, Texas.

Mary worked for many years for Temple ISD in the food service department. She was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church in Temple.

Mary is survived by her children, Rosalie Meredith and husband Stephen of Olathe, Kansas, James McGuire and wife Lavonda of Arlington, Texas, and Elaine Roberts and husband Buddy of Troy, Texas, 6 grandchildren, Derek Meredith, Brian Meredith, Jake Roberts and fiancée Shanna Tofte, Laura Meredith and partner Matthew Isom, Melanie McGuire, and Preston Roberts, 7 great-grandchildren, Max, Liam, Quinton, Everett, Stephen, Deborah, and Daniel. She is also survived by a sister Jeannie Davis of Harker Heights, brother Bernie Naylor and wife Margot of Killeen and a brother-in-law Lou Watkins of Belton.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Willie McGuire, sisters Louese Watkins, Marie Vick, and Merle Gregory and brother James Naylor.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Oak Park United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
