

Mary Sue Carney Reinhardt, 88, of Temple, died Friday, November 27. 2015. Her family mourns her passing, but rejoices in her faith and hope in Christ.Funeral service will be held with her church family at Canyon Creek Baptist Church at 10am on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 with Dr. Ronnie Hood officiating. Burial will be held at 2pm Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the (VA) Houston National Cemetery in Houston. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2015 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.Ms. Reinhardt was born on March 30, 1927 in Beaumont, Texas and grew up in Vidor, TX. She attended Lilly Jolly School of Nursing in Houston, TX and began working as a nurse just after WWII ended. During her career she met her husband, Thomas Carney, her patient who she nursed to health and married in 1950, and who preceded her in death in 1968. She is the last surviving sibling of nine Dickerson children.
