Mary Sue Starr

Mary Sue Starr, age 71, of Temple, TX passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was born on August 27, 1943 in Norfolk, VA the daughter of Maurice James and Josephine O'Connor Sr. On August 5, 1965 in Norfolk Mary Sue married John Caleb Starr. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple and enjoyed being a wife and mother. Mary Sue is survived by her husband John Caleb Starr M.D. of Temple, a son Adam Jennings Starr M.D. and his wife Heidi of Dallas, a daughter Susan Elizabeth Starr of Dallas, grandchildren Sarah Jane Starr, Samuel Jennings Starr, and John Caleb Starr all of Dallas, cousins Mary Maude Baker of Baltimore, MD and Kathryn Whitson of Norfolk, VA, a nephew Darren O'Connor of Norfolk, VA, and a sister-in-law Sally Starr of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Maurice James O'Connor Jr. A memorial visitation will take place on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 4pm-7pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, TX. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015 10am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple.
