

Otto W. H. Schulz, age 78, of Temple died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, January 31, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Minister H. K. Ballard and Rev. Joe Heflin officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Schulz was born February 3, 1930 in Milam County to Otto Frederick and Augusta Bertha (Senkel) Schulz. He was reared and educated in the Clarkson community. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He married Adeline Kelm on March 14, 1954 in Ben Arnold. He retired from Temple Compress in 1971 and worked as a custodian at First Lutheran Church in Temple. He was a member of Troy Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Adeline on June 16, 2007 and a daughter, Donna Sue Schulz on March 9, 1960. Survivors include two sons, Billy Neal Schulz and wife, Vickie of Valley Mills, Kenneth Ray Schulz and wife, Candy of Troy, two daughters, Karen Kay Marshall and husband, Mark of Temple, Edith A. Ingalsbe and husband, Dale of Lott, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Barrett Schulz, Brent Schulz, Christopher Buckles, Dale Ingalsbe, Jr., Robbie Blackmon and Kelvin Kelm. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
