Dear Pat's Family, I only knew Pat for a few short years. The memories made and the sweet, sweet friendship gained in those few years seems like a lifetime! When you were around Pat, you could feel the Holy Spirit no matter where you were at! She never failed to smile or say hello. As others have said, she has left a legacy that I can only pray I will carry on! She was always doting on the widows, making sure we were all okay! The last time I saw Pat, she said: "Will you please stay and help Sara clean up, I just hate to leave her with this mess!" 
Yes, Pat, Idid and I will do my very best to keep your legacy alive. We love you and miss you terribly, but know you are dancing with Jesus and your Family!!

Kevin & family,  please except my condolences on the loss of your sweet momma.  I was sad to read her Obituary,  you described her beautifully.  I'm sure she is happy to be with your Dad & sister. To precious Pats family and friends,
     As I begin writing this it is still so hard to believe Pat has gone to be with Jesus.  Even though our hearts are hurting and we miss her so much, we are rejoicing that she is in the arms of Jesus and reunited with her daughter and husband.  Pat was a precious gift and blessing in all of our lives.  She had the biggest servants heart and was a Prayer Warrior like no other.  She was always taking care of everyone- from delivering food and supplies to so many, to driving people everywhere, to taking heartbroken people out to dinner and counseling them, to praying continuously for all of us, to helping with widows and  griefshare, and to always putting others before herself.  She showered the love of Jesus to anyone that ever came in contact with her.  Praying that we will all continue Pat’s legacy and strive to be the example of Jesus she was to us all.  She was like a Mom to me and I am forever grateful God put her in my life.  Her smile that lit up the room with His joy will never be forgotten.  I loved her with all my heart and will miss her so much!

To Pat's family,  I just wanted to share with you how much your mom and grandmother meant to our group.  I've had the wonderful privilege of helping lead the widows ministry at TBC for a while. We were all so shocked to hear the news that she left this world.  We know she is in the arms of her Savior and at peace because of her faith and for this we can be comforted and hope you are too  For me one of the first things that comes to mind is what a prayer warrior Pat was.  She truly did pray for her friends and would always follow up with asking you about your prayer request or about your loved one or friend that she was praying for. For me, one of our kids was struggling a couple years back and I asked the ladies to pray and Pat asked all during that time and up until the last time I saw her how that particular child of mine was doing. She was so faithful in praying for her friends. I also know during the pandemic that she took food to some of our ladies who were shut in and weren’t able to get out. She was also involved in 
 grief share and regularly checked on the ladies in that group  and then invited people from that group to the widows group. It was very important to her to help people and she wanted any widows to have a place where they felt loved and encouraged.  She also took great care of one of the ladies in our group named Cheryl, she would give her rides because she didn't have a car and she would often do things for her.  Cheryl was so saddened to hear this news. For me I just want you to know that your mom and grandmother is truly one of the most “others focused“ and selfless people I’ve ever met! We will miss her so much on Wednesdays when we meet and will never forget her beautiful smile and kind ways! My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I'm so sorry for your sadness. This is our Christmas party in 2020,  we always had so much fun at these parties! We did a fun gift exchange and lots of laughter! Pat was always so festive and loved being with her friends! She was so loved by our group and so many ladies were the beneficiaries of her kindness and generosity.  She often brought food to those who were struggling,  faithfully prayed for her friends and would call and check on them.  She was a faithful follower of the Lord and shared His love with everyone He put in her path!

The New Song Widows group have many precious memories with our dear friend and sister in Christ, Pat.  We loved her being part of our group and she was a great friend to so many! This is our Christmas party in 2021.

Miss Pat was like a combination of a grandmother and great aunt to me. I will always hold a very special place in my heart. When I was having bad days,she would give me a sweet and warm hug and she would tell me that she loved me  I am going to miss her. I love Miss Pat very much. Rest in peace my friend.


    Pat was my mother’s best friend and neighbor for decades—-we were all so lucky to have her in our lives!  My mother loved Pat so much that she refused to build a fence between their yards because she always wanted to be able to look out and wave to her.  They would sit for hours on a glider that Pat placed between their two houses and laugh and laugh.  In later years, Pat watched out for mom with the greatest care and love.  My mother once said “You don’t need a bunch of friends, you just need one true friend” .   I know that true  friend for her was Pat.  
    She was a woman of great faith and I know she carries it into Heaven with her,  but this world is a bit dimmer without Pat here.
