Pauline Horton, age 70, of Temple died Monday, February 27, 2006 in a local hospital. Services and burial will be held in Indiana. Ms. Horton was born June 29, 1935 in Fort Ritner, Indiana to Delous Hubert and Trilah Brown Meyers. She was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps serving during the Korean War. She retired from the U. S. Post Service. She had been a resident of Temple for the past six years. Survivors include two daughters, Jo McCracken of Temple and Diane McCracken of French Lick, IN, three sons, Pete Horton of Mitchell, IN, Scott Horton of Terre Haute, IN and Allen Horton of Ellettsville, IN, nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Lois Ruff of Florida, Alice Valen of Santa Barbara, CA and one brother, Leon Meyers of Bedford, IN. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
