Peggy Shaw, age 67 of Temple, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 in an Austin hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 14 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ken Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. Shaw was born April 8, 1945 in Temple to George A. and Leona (Zawadzke) Wilhite. She graduated from Temple High School in 1963. She retired from Temple Santa Fe Credit Union in 2011 after 13 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Temple over 40 years. Survivors include two daughters, Julie Ingram of Morgan's Point Resort and Terry Norwood of San Diego, three stepchildren, Angela Weir of Troy, Lisa Covell Bates City, Missouri and Stacy Huntsman of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, George Wilhite of Robinson and Darryl Wilhite of Troy and one sister, Betty Crotty of Temple.
