Marjorie Rosella “Posey” Martin, a lifelong resident of Temple, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, April 9, 2017. No services are planned. Posey was born in Temple on August 25, 1924 to Lewis O. Jones and Ola Kegley Jones. She graduated from Temple High School in 1942. She worked and retired from Kuykendall Motor Company and returned to work and retired from Marshalls at the age of 90. She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Martin of Burnet, Melinda LaPrade of Temple and Penny Brock of Tucson, AZ., three grandchildren, Chris Randolph, Stephanie LaPrade, and Chad LaPrade and two great-grandchildren, Peyton Randolph and Piper Randolph. She is also survived by one sister, Dorothy Fourmigue of Temple. Posey was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lewis O. Jones Jr., and Samuel R. Jones, Sr. and one sister, Ola Maye Liles. Memorials can be made to the charity of your choice.
