Funeral services for Rick Joseph Chiappetta, 23, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mr. Chiappetta died Monday in a motor vehicle accident near Navasota. Mr. Chiappetta was born August 30, 1987 in Temple. He graduated from Temple High School in 2005, where he was active in Baseball and Tennis. He was currently a Senior at Sam Houston State University. He was also employed with AudioVideo in College Station. Survivors include his mother Kathi Chiappetta of Temple; one brother Nicholas Twidwell of Temple; his sister Ashley Twidwell of Temple; his grandmother Frances Chiappetta of Temple his uncle Greg Chiappetta of Leander; three aunts Lisa Chiappetta of Temple, Lori Chiappetta of College Station and Gina Bedsole of Frisco. Memorials may be made to Rick Chiappetta Scholarship Fund %First State Bank Central Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. Friday with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
