

Beloved father and grandfather, Robert Alan Weber, Sr., age 85, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Ithaca, New York. Bob was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of 61 years, Julia, on February 15, 2018 and will be laid to rest beside her on February 15, 2020.
Formerly of Temple, Texas, Bob was born on December 17, 1934 in Union, New Jersey the son of Archibald and Marie Weber. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1956 and then worked for many years in human resources and as an attorney for General Motors, Celanese, Rockwell, Amax, and Hercules retiring in 1992. He lived in nine different states during those years until age 70 when he passed the Texas Bar and opened a law practice in Kerrville, TX, offering pro bono legal advice to friends, neighbors, and the indigent of Kerr County, as well as the Texas State Hospital and Women’s Work Force. In addition to his law practice, he mowed lawns and dispensed free financial advice to anyone who would listen.
He is survived by his son Robert A. Weber, Jr. and wife Patty Lynn of Temple, a daughter Jeanne Townley of Ithaca, N.Y., and seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Weber of Denver, CO, Bobby Weber, III of San Francisco, CA, David Weber of Dallas, TX, Rebekah Weber (Sebastian) Van Oudenallen of Philadelphia, PA, Kayla Crosbie of Denver, CO, Brandon (Zhenya) Crosbie of Pittsburg, PA, and Nicholas Townley of Ithaca, N.Y.
