Ronald Reed Grygar

Ronald Reed Grygar, age 65 of Temple, died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Ranjan Cletus as celebrant. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation followed by a rosary service will be held Monday, November 18, 2013 from 6-8:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Ronald was born on November 14, 1948 in Temple, Texas to the late William Grygar and Mary Jakubec Grygar. He attended St. Mary Catholic School and then graduated from Rogers High School in 1966. Ronald also graduated from the University of Texas in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple. Ronald retired after 25 years at E.R. Carpenter Company in Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ronald is survived by his sister, Connie Grygar Henderson and husband Earnest of Uxbridge, Massachusetts; and brothers, Bill Grygar and wife Ilene of Montgomery, Texas and Kenneth Grygar of Temple.
