Ronnie Ray Pausewang

Ronnie Ray Pausewang, age 44 of Temple, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 30th at 2:16 A.M. His memorial service will be Monday, July 8th, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Proctor officiating. Ronnie was born on December 27, 1968 in Freeport, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Pausewang. Survivors include his wife, Shelley Pausewang; parents, Kenneth and Betty Pausewang; brother, Michael Pausewang and wife Wendy; sister, Theresa Hilfer and husband Mark, as well as numerous precious nephews and nieces. Ronnie was raised in Temple and married Shelley McGuire on March 27, 2004. He was a carpenter most of his adult life, owner of a construction business but had to retire due to illness. He truly enjoyed his occupation, employees and customers. Ronnie was a faithful Christian who always put his family and others before himself. He was a member of a loving congregation where the Lord's presence is filled throughout. He came to know Pastor Proctor, who reflects the true attributes of Christ Jesus, who gave him a new direction and outlook with his future. Ronnie adored his family and had wonderful times throughout his life. After suffering many years with fibromyalgia, he was overcome with pancreatic cancer and is now at peace with his Lord and Savior.
