Ruby Kathleen Wilson

Ruby Kathleen Wilson, 75, of Temple died Tuesday at her residence. Mrs. Wilson was born March 20, 1936 in Lonoke, Arkansas to Fred Lightfoot and Nellie Schmidt Lightfoot. She married Willis E. Wilson Jr. August 1, 1955. He preceded her in death July 4, 2002. They moved to Temple from Hallettsville in April, 1979. She attended McLennan Community College where she received her RN degree. She retired from Kings Daughters Hospital. She was a member of Canyon Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons Willis E. (Eddie) Wilson III and his wife Gail of Lorena and Jerry G. Wilson of Hallettsville; one daughter Carla L. Huber and her husband Ron of Temple; one brother George C. Lightfoot of Texarkana; five grandchildren Sada Moon of Hewitt, Krystal Francis and her husband Kyle of Roundrock, Matt Huber of Temple, Sarah Huber of Temple and Stephanie Wilson of Hallettsville; and two great grandchildren Karl Francis of Roundrock and Kayla Francis of Roundrock. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
