Memorial services for Samuel Fletcher Goodrich, 18, of Morgans Point will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Temple Bible Church with Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Mr. Goodrich died Wednesday night in an automobile accident near Waco. Mr. Goodrich was born in Lancaster to David Goodrich and Susan Wunschel Goodrich. He moved to Morgans Point in 2000 from Oregon. He was a Senior at Belton High School. During the 7th and 8th grades he played football, during the 9th grade he was on the swim team. He was a chess player having gone to the National Finals two times and was a nationally ranked pistol shooter. He was an Eagle Scout and attended Temple Bible Church. Survivors include his parents David And Susan Goodrich of Morgans Point; his sister Bethany Goodrich of Morgans Point; his grandparents Ira and Ernestine Goodrich of Austin and Wes and Nancy Wunschel of Kerrville; his grandmother Mittie Hinsley of DeSoto and his great grandfather Albert Wunschel of Ida Grove, Iowa. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
