Virgie Elizabeth Holt, 57, of Temple died at her residence Friday July 17, 2009. Private services are planned. Mrs. Holt was born in Austin August 28, 1951 to Adolph Gustov Kruger and Mary Smith Kruger. She had worked as manager of Golden Fried Chicken in Austin. She lived in Austin before moving to Temple thirteen years ago. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons William Jones and Heath Jones both of Temple; one daughter Mary Ortiz of Temple and nine grandchildren. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
