Virginia M. Anoatubby Elders, age 67 of Temple formerly of Dallas, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in a local nursing center. Services and burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Elders was born February 21, 1946 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Virgil and Thelma Sickles Anoatubby. She was a longtime resident of Tishomingo and Dallas. She worked at Eastman Kodak Company in Dallas for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Elders, Jr. and her parents. Survivors include one son, James A. Elders, III of Temple and one daughter, Laurie Elders Mattson and husband, Weldon Mattson, Jr. of Salado, five grandchildren, Mallory Campos, Megan Mattson, Morgan Mattson, Dakota Elders and Kalie Elders and two great-grandchildren, Sophia Campos and Rachel Delacruz. Also surviving are two brothers, Virgil Anoatubby of Tishomingo and Rick Anoatubby of Dallas and two sisters, Eloise Anoatubby and Susan Anoatubby both of Tishomingo.
