

Anita Lesbriel, 82, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on January 4, 2025 in Toms River, NJ peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born in Irvington, NJ, to the late Louise and William Toby. She resided in Irvington, Roselle Park and Toms River with her husband and family for many years. Throughout her life, she was employed at Aldene School as a Secretary and Library aide, at the Roselle Park Public Library, and was an Avon seller.
Anita enjoyed traveling with her husband and family for many years. She visited many places from the Caribbean to Alaska and around the United States. She enjoyed watching the sunset, the waves on a beach and the birds in her backyard. Most importantly Anita enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for being a loving and caring person, her willingness to listen to those who need to be heard and her ability to make everyone feel important. She was always willing to open up her home and make anyone feel welcomed and loved.
Anita was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2023 and is survived by her three daughters: Lynn Maulbeck and her husband Mark, Wendy Annitti and her husband Scott, Donna Mann and her husband, Frank, her six grandchildren, Robert Maulbeck, Nicholas Maulbeck, Melissa Annitti, Allison Annitti, Kaitlyn Mann and Ashley Mann. Also surviving are her brother Bill Toby and his wife Dee, her sister Cookie MacPherson and her husband Rick their many additional family members including brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and loved friends and beloved Aunt Mae DiPaolo, who is 94 years young.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 4-9 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River with services starting promptly at 6:30 pm. Interment will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 11:00 am at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
